Ultrasound ASIC by ICALPS Innovative Technology for Ultrasound Applications |
Dear , Lates ASIC Paltform by our partner ICAlps:
Ultrasound systems require both a high energy pulse generator coupled to an ultrasound transducer (MEMs based) for the transmit path (Tx) and a charge/current/voltage low noise amplifier, coupled with amplification or attenuation, filtering and analog to digital conversion system, for the receive path (Rx).
Designing ASIC for Tx/Rx paths enables to reach the best performances with the transducer used (PMUT, CMUT, …). IC’Alps, integrated in Doliam group, has developed experience in designing such ASIC since 2018, handling the challenges of mixing high voltage and nominal voltage for the Tx path and modeling the transducer with the amplification chain for the Rx path.
