Digital Manure Processing Showcased at the North American Manure Expo |
|
| From carbon credits to biogas, are you maximizing the potential of your manure? |
|
|
Our Machine-Learning powered technology transforms liquid manure into clean water and concentrated nutrient fertilizers while digitizing the manure footprint through on-system sensors to provide actionable insights and new revenue opportunities! In fact, together with our client, we have recently validated a first of its kind methane avoidance carbon credits on a Washington State dairy!
The benefits of manure processing include: |
|
|
-
New revenue streams from carbon credits, fertilizers, and biogas
- Increased production
- Strategic nutrient control
- Increased yields
- Reduced crop input costs
-
Minimized field compaction
- Improved herd health
- Eliminated odors
- Reduced trucking and groundwater withdrawals
- Enhanced workplace safety
-
Decreased insurance premiums
- Improved employee moral

Karleigh's Korner: Boosting Water Holding Capacity in Soil with Manure |

Soil isn't just dirt; it's a bustling ecosystem supplying plants with vital nutrients, including water. The secret lies in its aggregates—clay surfaces that host organic molecules, coming in various sizes. These aggregates create pathways for water flow and snug spots for roots to sip from.
Nurturing these aggregates requires a dose of organic goodness. Enter manure—a superhero for soil health! By adding manure, you're not only feeding soil fungi and bacteria but also fostering the creation of aggregates. These microorganisms transform nutrients into simpler forms that latch onto clay surfaces. The result? Improved water-holding capacity and a welcoming haven for robust root growth.
Remember, soil type plays a role. For sandy soils, the impact is even more remarkable, as they eagerly embrace organic materials to fashion those water-holding pockets.
So, let's celebrate the power of manure, enhancing soil hydration and laying the groundwork for thriving plants! |

We are replicating anaerobic digester conditions at our Innovation Center in an exciting new way! This enables us to measure gas production from diverse feedstocks - including concentrated solids processed through the First Wave system. Comprehensive data collection will be fully automated through on-board sensors and will be used to compare the results of these mini-digesters to real-world scenarios. This will allow us to generate predictive models for biogas outputs. Once enough data has been collected we will begin analyzing and training new Machine Learning models to examine more data than a human eye can work with, allowing us to create the best possible feedstock for biogas increases!
Stay tuned for more updates or connect with us today to learn more! |
