The Importance of Data Collection |
Data collection in manure management and manure processing is revolutionizing modern farming. It enables precision nutrient application, waste reduction, and regulatory compliance. With the ability to analyze historical and real-time data at your fingertips, farmers can make informed choices, streamline operations, and proactively address challenges. Data allows farmers to identify trends and patterns in manure production, animal health, and crop yields. Armed with this knowledge, they can make strategic decisions to optimize farm operations and resource allocation.
LWR's sensor enabled resource recovery technology provides our clients with insights that show improvements in operational efficiencies, environmental footprint, and overall herd health. They are also using our data analytics platform to realize added value especially when they are looking to add a new revenue stream made possible through resource recovery. We are constantly researching new sensor technologies that promise even more insights. Are you embracing the power of data? |

Darwinibacteriales: A Breakthrough Discovery That Could Hold the Key to Improving Biogas Production |
Scientists from the European research project Micro4Biogas have discovered a new taxonomic order of bacteria, named Darwinibacteriales, which plays a crucial role in the decomposition of organic matter. It also has significant implications for improving biogas fuel production.
After analyzing 45 European biogas plants, researchers found that Darwinibacteriales were present in all samples. This discovery could enhance the efficiency of biogas production, which could reduce reliance on subsidies, and boost renewable energy production on a global scale.
Researchers suspect that a specific family within this order collaborates with archaea, contributing to methane gas generation and making them a promising target for optimizing biogas production strategies. Learn More. |
